This little abstract started out as a pink landscape but it went horribly wrong right from the beginning so I turned it into a redish, pink, and peach abstract. It is 6×6 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. It will be available in my Etsy shop once it is dry in a week or two.

I know its only one painting so far but I’ve been thinking about this for weeks and I’m excited to say that I opened my Etsy shop today! I’m going to be adding artwork from the 100 Artworks Challenge as it dries. Oil paints take much longer than acrylics to dry but I like the look of oil so much better.

For this painting I used an 8×10 canvas panel. I’ll probably pop it into a frame once its dry. There is more green in the sky which the camera didn’t quite capture.

Original landscape paintings. Each is 6×6 inches and 1.5 inches deep. I’ll be adding these little paintings to my Etsy shop sometime in April.

This is painting number seven in the 100 Artworks Challenge. The challenge officially starts today (I started a bit early because I was too excited to wait). If you want to participate or learn more about the challenge, check out Kellee Wynne’s blog Artist.Writer.Dreamer.
